Yvette was having trouble sleeping the last few nights. She
stayed by Scott’s bedside as long as possible talking him through it as the
doctor told her it was helping to improve his condition
which wasn’t as fatal as they had originally believed. Scott pushed away from
Cameron as he felt the blade burning into his skin and thankfully suppressed
the amount of damage he did to his body.

S5: Chapter 07: The Missing Link
“We need Yvette for this mission,” Scott sighed and dropped a large dossier on the desk.
“Yvette? My Yvette? My six months pregnant Yvette?”
“Unless you know another. Cameron Goldman, Englishman, known drug smuggler
and gun enthusiast. To catch you up, CIA Excursion Mission Red Hawk involved a
lot of money, a lot of weapons and a lot of arrests. Yvette and her team were
knee deep in the shit and pulled this off successfully with minimal risk and a
few deaths. Anyway, Goldman made contact with a Turkish arms dealer and offered
to supply his army for a reasonable price; Yvette brokered the deal and her
team took them all out. The CIA had a plant in the Turk’s army that helped
orchestrate the takedown and both he and Yvette were ‘arrested’ for their parts
in the crime.”

S5: Chapter 06: The Con Game
Yvette rushed towards the back bedroom as Brett finished up on breakfast. Her morning sickness was gone; or so he thought considering she was well into her third trimester. He’d guess she’d got a little nauseous from the smell of the vinegar and needed to relieve her stomach. Though he was never sure what triggered it. What they were making was already quite an odd combination, strawberry crepes and autumn salad with house vinaigrette. Maybe it was just a bathroom run; she had certainly had an increase in those.
A smile formed on his lips as he thought about her first bout with the cramps and nausea. He’d just finished helping with dinner when her stomach flipped. He knew right then it was a boy because no man child of his would be caught dead enjoying the froufrou foods she was stuffing down her gullet. He wiped his hands and sat the plate to the side as he started down the hall to check on her.

S5: Chapter 05: Better off FED
“Come on batter hit it out of the park!” Scott yelled at Ryan as he stepped up to the plate preparing for his swing. “You better get a homer or else you’re on desk duty for a week!”
His threat was met with a light chuckle from Sharpe until he turned and noticed his boss wasn’t smiling with him. “Well shit!” Turning his gaze back towards the pitcher, Ryan lifted his bat and prepared himself for the slider he saw the CIA agent using as the first pitch for every hitter that took position. Lowering his cap to blot out the sun from his eyes, he scanned the bases and the positions of the men on the field, he was ready.

S5: Chapter 04: Columbo Was a Wimp
Warning: I felt it necessary to warn you all that this may be a little on the long side. I apologize in advance. Good luck solving the mystery (I tried to keep it simple!)
Yvette sat staring at the wall still feeling the pain of
their last mission. She was so close to finding answers to the person behind
the notes; he was so close yet so far away. She blew up a building lobby thanks
to her carelessness but luckily no one was inside at the time. Though had she
kept the pen on her, she would not be sitting here right now. How could she
have been that blinded? The entire situation was beginning to really weigh on
her but she remained quiet over the actual depth of her feelings about it.

S5: Chapter 03: Chips Ahoy
“This is Doctor Jerry Sanders. In town for a conference, he was taken in the middle of the night from his hotel room here in Bridgeport. He has a science facility near Reno and for some yet unknown reason he is being held inside of the NexTech Cooperation’s Arizona compound. This is an extraction, we need him alive,” Yvette spoke and handed out the case specs to each member.

S5: Chapter 02: Forged
Brett and Yvette enjoyed a nice three week getaway to Costa Rica for their honeymoon and a week’s long cruise to the Bahamas. When they returned home they began the arduous process of moving in to their new home. Though they wouldn’t have much time to get everything unpacked and put away before getting back to work, they had their things all boxed up and inside the new place before Scott put them on a new case.

S5: Chapter 01: Homecoming
“Hello Princess,” Ethan grinned and stepped closer. “Welcome home.”
“You son of a bitch!” She jumped towards him only to feel the tight knots of the ropes wrench the flesh of her wrists and jerk her back into the chair hard. Toppling over she fell against the cement ground. A pained groan puffed from her lips and she shook her head to settle the stars that now circled around her eyes. Moving quickly, Ethan leaned forward and pulled her upright once more.

Special Edition: The Honeymoon
**Warning: LOTS of gushy mushy!**
The newlyweds arrived to the Los Sueños Resort Hotel in beautiful Costa Rica, Mexico and wasted no time starting out into the country to absorb the culture. Deciding first on sinking into the crystal blue waters they saw on the plane ride over, they dropped off their luggage and grabbed what they needed. Hopping quickly into their swimsuits, Yvette raced Brett down to the bay near the hotel passing several other beach combers on their way to the water. “Oh my it just looks…”
“Amazing,” Brett finished her sentence and tucked her against his chest. She led him to the ground and wrapped herself in his arms as she listened to the waterfall pound against the rocks in front of them. “So do you have any intentions of going in or are we just going to stare at it all day?”

S4: Chapter 10: The PuppetMaster
“Hey what’s going on?” Ryan asked watching the team gear up and get ready to head out.
“Red alert, someone spotted our missing girl entering a building in the red-light district by force. She was seen in the company of three rather large men and they were armed,” Dustin reported as he strapped an extra magazine to his hip.
“Who called it in?” He dropped his cup of coffee on the table and caught the automatic Vic tossed towards him as he too got in gear.
