Chapter 01: Aftermath
Brett and Yvette find themselves strangers as they try and cope with the loss of what could have been with the knowledge of the miscarriage. Yvette copes by throwing herself into her research and Brett keeps waiting for the right time to talk to her. Soo Kim takes Dustin on his blind date to meet a friend of hers, Mica, and the two hit it off immediately. Ryan tries to deal with his step-sister Stefanie's emotional state and the fact that she is constantly skipping school. He makes her a promise that he'll have her with him by week's end. Gabriel Tasker meets up with Yvette and tells her that her hit may be related to something that her mother was involved in.

Sierra tries to get Victor to get out of his stupor as he listlessly peruses the house for more liquor. After a conversation Erica offers to speak with Stefanie and try to get her to open up about what's bothering her. Yvette continues pushing Brett away at every attempt at conversation. He learns that his parents have been threatened again and decides to go see them. Ryan calls to tell Brett they've located information on other Russian mafia but are withholding it from Victor just yet meanwhile Victor is slipping further and further into the darkness of his drunken state.

Dustin shows up at Mica's clinic for a surprise lunch and the two get to know each other better. The weekend brings Stefanie over to Ryan's place and he takes her shopping and to lunch to try and see the smile he's missed over the last month or so. At lunch he gets her to agree to speak with Erica at the school and there she has a breakthrough. Finally able to admit to what her father has been doing to her, she breaks down and makes Erica promise not to tell Ryan because she fears losing the one person she believes actually cares for her. Dustin takes Mica to dinner and asks her to meet his family.

Brett and Yvette head to Rockville to check on his parents. While there they find the Cleaners (a highly trained agent that specializes in murder) that were assigned to sit on them. They make a plan and take them out before their parents are hurt. Yvette learns more about Brett and his family welcomes her with open arms. With a close call nearly claiming his life, Brett and Yve finally have the talk they've needed to repair their dying relationship and Yvette makes a startling confession.

Brett discovers that his father never retired and has in fact worked for the Company when he overhears a conversation involving Yvette's hit. Victor has a moment of clarity when he realizes he could possibly lose his children from his behavior. He begs Sierra for help and slowly begins the painful process of healing. Dustin takes Mica to meet his family and Tao, his nephew, immediately pulls her in. Dustin's grandma Hua however has her suspicions and interrogates her mercilessly. But all goes well and Dustin and Mica share their first real kiss.

Brett makes his father explain exactly what he's been doing and finds his mother also had knowledge that he was still going. Yvette begins to have suspicions about his father as she too sees the extent of his investigation. Terrance explains that he kept an eye on them to make sure they were safe but that he wasn't their enemy and is in fact on the same mission: take out the Company. Ryan discovers his missing non-service weapon and rushes to his sister when he believes she was the culprit. When he arrives at his parent's home he is shocked by a grisly discovery. Arriving home, Brett and Yvette are confronted by Nicholas and Anthony Luciano. Nick asks for Yve's help and she refuses. Not one to take "no" for an answer, Anthony drugs her and tells her the only way to get the antidote is to do what he's asked otherwise, she's as good as dead.

Dustin makes up his favor to Mica in a way to ensure she can trust him.
